“It is a violation of human rights…I will not keep silent, I will take measures. I will go to the court of human rights. I will prove IAAF and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) that they’ve made a wrong decision.”

The 2013 quote is a poor translation taken completely out of context, it’s a bit unfair to use it to take the “she’s anti-gay so this effing bitch has no business commenting on human rights” approach you’ve taken here.
Either way, if it’s a poor translation or her English is relatively poor the point of the comparison still remains.
She is an international figure and at the time publicly supported laws that limited LGBT rights in Russia.
If she now feels her human rights are now infringed by the IAAF, that is nothing to what the LGBT community face in Russia on a daily basis, which was perpetuated by her.
First of all competing in the Olympics is not a “RIGHT” it is a privilege. And if you are part of the problem then you stay home. Where was she when all this was happening? She is so vocal now but kept quiet when she saw all the doping right under her nose. Silence equaled condoning the behavior. Hard to feel sorry.
